The PC80MR-5 Midi Excavator features an integrated counterweight, a compact tail swing radius, and a swing boom that stays close to the machine, with operating weights between 8,000 and 8,240 kg. It’s perfectly suited for tasks in tight spaces and urban settings.

The Komatsu PC80MR‐5 comes equipped with a range of new and enhanced features, designed with user needs in mind. It’s powered by an electronically controlled Komatsu Stage V engine with a DPF, delivering a net horsepower of 46.2 kW (62 hp). This environmentally friendly engine offers the same reliable performance as previous models while cutting fuel consumption by up to 10%.

Excellent serviceability Komatsu designed the PC80MR-5 with an easy access to all service points. Routine maintenance and servicing are less likely to be skipped, which can mean a reduction of costly downtime later on. The radiator, aftercooler and oil cooler are made of aluminium to improve their efficiency and are mounted in parallel for quicker cleaning. The fuel and oil filters as well as the fuel drain valve, are all remote mounted and easily accessible.

Long-life oil filters The Komatsu Genuine hydraulic oil filter uses high performance filtering material for long replacement intervals, which significantly reduces maintenance costs.
